The universe is such a beautiful miracle with its conglomeration of inestimable elements, features, wonders, puzzles, creatures, hosts of other discoveries and the most amazing of all – its environment. It takes a creature with a brain, no matter how limited to identify and observe consciously what the universe offers, its effects, how to maximize or minimize its influence and dictate how it affects his or her personal life.
Thus conscious living as some writers agreed involves questioning negative behaviors, actions, inactions, habits and substitute them with more positive ones. Consciousness empowers you with amazing sensation, motivation, and control over your life and situation,
On the other hand, to embrace personal growth means to relentlessly work on self to improve and develop with age, advancing in wisdom, knowledge, and self-actualization. Personal growth is a way of evolving through a determined mindset and calculated attempts to overcome challenges and obstacles.
Life occurrences, procrastination, relaxations, excuses, etc are few out of several agents of external circumstances with immeasurable influence on every individual which without conscious living, would make life slip by with no evident growth. Thousands of people live each day as it comes which later become years of unconscious living and stagnancy as the decision-making process eludes the individual.
We often juxtapose living in the moment as living an unconscious life and submitting to the dictates of our habits, morals, traditions, custom, values, subconsciousness and addictions. But, a concise decision to neither live in the past nor worry about the future changes the narrative, realizing and working towards your purpose in life, making deliberate choices.
The mastery of courage, integrity, preference in terms of importance, and discipline give the power to decide how you will grow rather than being a victim at the whims of fate. Personal growth would be nearly impossible to achieve without conscious living coming into play actively in a coordinated manner.
Moreover, it’s safe to say greater weapons are in the hands of the oppressed (people) than that of the oppressors (submission to unconscious living) but negligence mirrors the way it is conceived.
